K Sathasivam (Sivam) joined vCargo Cloud Pte Ltd (VCC) in September 2015 as a Business Development Director, driving VCC’s strategic growth and business development in the ASEAN and Central Asian regions. His other responsibilities include curriculum development and training in the areas of Trade Facilitation.

Before joining VCC, he was an IT Director with SGS Geneva where he led a team in Mozambique to oversee the operations of the Mozambique Single Electronic Window (SEW) System. Prior to joining SGS, he was with CrimsonLogic for about 12 years. Throughout his career, he has managed the Singapore TradeNet, and the SEW for Ghana, Madagascar and Mozambique. Globally, he had provided consultancy services to the Commonwealth Secretariat and Asian Development Bank on Trade Facilitation for their recipient countries. He presented and has been a moderator at various trade conferences worldwide on Single Electronic Window topics.

A veteran in the industry with his business acumen, marketing expertise, enthusiasm, sales skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and self motivation has enabled him to secure multi-million dollar deals for the organisations he worked for.

Mr Sathasivam graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an Academic Excellence Award from Ottawa University (USA) and a Diploma in Sales and Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore. He is also an ACTA and DACE certified professional.
