VCC and IMG Logistics have Joined Forces To Enable Greater Efficiency in Vietnam Logistics Industry with Technology

On the 12th of July, 2019, VCC and IMG Logistics signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aim of digitalising the logistics and cross-border e-commerce in Vietnam.

IMG Logistics is a Vietnam-based company, specialising in providing cross-border e-commerce platform, warehousing, and transport services. Sharing the same view as VCC, IMG Logistics recognises that global trade is expanding and will continue to grow in the future. To stay relevant and competitive in this global trade growth, companies need to digitalise their business process and operations, to achieve greater efficiency. However, the issue, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), is the reluctance to digitalise due to lack of knowledge or lack of resources such as manpower, to overcome initial challenges.

The plan of this collaboration is to develop an e-commerce logistics platform to provide a channel for the Vietnamese firms to venture into global markets and also to make it easier for international logistics firms to enter the Vietnam market. VCC will provide IMG Logistics with our expertise and support in their journey of helping Vietnam-based logistics firms digitalised, to increase efficiency, and to capture global opportunities through new channels.
