MOU seeks to extract, send data electronically from Certification of Origin Automation System

vCargo Cloud reached another milestone in its achievements. It inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

His Excellency, Reach Ra, Under-Secretary of State, Cambodia and Mr Desmond Tay, Chief Executive Officer for vCargo Cloud Pte Ltd acted as signatories for the MOU. It was witnessed by His Excellency, Kem Sithan, Acting Minister of Commerce. The MOU will see VCC provide Technical Assistance to extract ATIGA Form D data from MOC Certification of Origin (CO) Automation System. With VCC’s Trade Facilitation platform CamelONE, the Cambodia National Single Window (CNSW) and the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) will also be seamlessly connected. With this connection, data from the Certificate of Origin Form D will be sent to member states electronically as part of ASEAN Trade Facilitation.

VCCS’s Global Footprint

The completion of this technical assistance by VCC will result in the elimination of manual documentation, and also highlights Cambodia’s confidence in VCC’s technical expertise and capabilities in trade facilitation. With this MOU, VCC has secured a foothold in Cambodia. This also reinforces the deployment of CamelONE in China, South East Asia, Central Asia and Africa.
