The SeafoodXchange Team Finds New Opportunities at the China Fisheries & SeaFood Expo (CFSE)

On the 29th of October, under the lead of Seafood Industries Association Singapore (SIAS), our SeafoodXchange (SFX) team participated in the annual China Fisheries & Seafood Expo (CFSE), the largest international Fisheries and Seafood Exhibition in Asia, at Qing Dao. The exhibition attracted 1,600 exhibiting enterprises from 53 countries and regions around the world and showcases the latest advances in fish farming equipment, packaging material and seafood processing technologies.

The consumption of seafood in China continues to increase and the demand for imported seafood is growing rapidly. Our SeafoodXchange team has placed much focus on the China market as it offers huge opportunities for international exporters and they are potential users of the SeafoodXchange.

During the event, apart from garnering interests for the platform, it gave us the opportunity to make new business connections and develop long-term collaborative relationships with businesses from all over the world. With our active participation in seafood trade events, it’s also not surprising to see familiar faces during the event. We caught up not only with our Singapore seafood partners, but also those whom we met during events we participated in earlier this year – Boston and Guangzhou.
